I got an idea of creating simple and eye-catching SFX

I decided to draw an eye, but finally, I made it '3D'.
This is 2nd stage. It was photographer's idea to make it '3D'.
This is red contact lense

Unfortunately, wax started to melt, it mixed with black paint, so edges were smooth.

Very eery effect. The broken edge are a very interesting touch. I would like to see that concept on a bigger scale, e.g. more eyes breaking out from under the chest or something like that.
